Surviving in brooklyn, moving to the west coast
i have my BA in art history from New York University. i am very interested in medieval, modern, and postmodern art, as well as printmaking (sometimes i enjoy making woodcuts, too).
i restore and repair vintage costume jewelry (c. 1900-1960) and lucite handbags from the 1950s at a store in soho. i like working with my hands and making old things beautiful again! i hope to continue my education in art conservation and to conserve paintings or objects for museums. i also enjoy making jewelry and hope to gain more experience in metalsmithing.
i grew up in san diego, california and miss the ocean every day. i have been living in new york city for several years. you can't see the stars here, and the sky is always obscured by buildings. i think it is a very strange city; always awake and always changing.
learning, traveling, and holding hands.
baking for others brings me the greatest joy.

i love to talk about things that are irrelevant to most people (the indus valley, the judith and salome figures, neoclassicism, 19th century french painting, 17th century spanish painting, impressionism, dada, etc).
i love communal cooking.
if you want to know about art history, especially modern art, i'd love to talk about it.
