Music, Movies, and Books

Music: There's a lot to say here as music is a huge part of my life, but I will try to make a quick sum up.
When I was young, my mother showed me a very wide range of music genres and a few of them influenced my taste. I really liked Trip Hop (Massive Attack, Portishead), World music, and artists like David Bowie, who expanded his art not only to the music, but to his personal universe around.
When I was a teenager, a friend of me showed me the Daft punk movie and that's at this moment that I knew I wanted to do this with my life. At this period I also had the chance to meet my uncle, who is an experienced jazz musician and he teached me about music theory, improvisation and also introduced me to Old school jazz, psychedelic rock, blues...
Recently, I've been making music at least once a week for the past 12 years. I'm both creating hybrid electronic beats (range from techno to rock to Hip hop beats) and singing "experimental pop" I'd say.
After all these years I finally have the feeling that I know myself enough and enough music genres to be confident in what I do and try to turn this life passion to what I do everyday :) Wish me luck <3

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's hard to choose "one particular experience" so I'll just talk about the latest big thing that happened to me.

It might sound cliché, but the experience of beginning a gender transition has taught me so much about life and about myself. It shifted my point of view from "Act like other persons around you expect you to act, it will be easier for them" to "Assume who you are, be proud of it, and people will be even more wonderful with you".

It took me years to talk about this, I lost some important persons for me on the way but as per now, I've never been this happy in my life :)
