I guess the internet is pretty awesome, we can watch cat videos at any given moment, and I am a big fan of this new sharing economy, from Uber to BlaBlaCar and AirBnB to Couchsurfing.

But in the end, the internet is pretty one dimensional and the best traveling experience you find is with locals, and that is why BlaBlaCar>Uber and Couchsurfing > AirBnB. Happy to be your local and hopefully vice versa sometime :)
