ABOUT ME

I grew up in Groningen. A city in the north of The Netherlands. A friendly city with a big university so a lot of students. And of course a good nightlife. When I was finished with my high school I wanted something new. I decided move to another city to study, Amsterdam!
I study visual and communication design and at the moment I have an Erasmus exchange in Istanbul. Istanbul is really really great.

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches and I had some visitors on my couch in Amsterdam.
The first coach i surfed was in Lubeck, Germany. Me and I friend were participating in a Hitchhike contest from Groningen (NL) to Copenhagen. Unfortunately this contest was in the middle of February and it was freezing cold. We were unlucky and we stranded in Lubeck at 23.00... No way we could ever reach Copenhagen in the night so we had to find a place to stay. Hotels were pretty expansive so we just ask people on the street. The first people we asked invited us to their house. That was so nice!
That was my first couchsurfing experience, even though i didn't use this website :)

I can be really happy with normal things..
Today I had a good talk with the guy who sells simits (small breads) at the street and then i got my backgammon board from my house and we played a game
