ABOUT ME

My name is Joy and since you are reading this I guess you would like to know what sort of human I am. I was born in the night of December 28th 1993 and thus am currently 18 years old and just finished my Abitur/A-Level/Secondary School.

I was born and raised in Southern and now I live in Northern Germany. However, my mother is from Northern Ireland and thus English is my mother tongue. I love to draw, listen to metal, bake to breath and live, talk about nonsense or philosophy and am not a bit afraid to be 100% what I am and say what I think and even if my honesty might offend you, I think you deserve nothing but the truth. If you want to listen to lies just turn on the TV! :D I believe in God and Jesus and evolution. Does this work? Pretty well!

In general, I am friendly and outgoing and am trying my best to live up to my name 100%.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Had an exciting start couchsurfing in Sydney for two nights, then having friends, friend-friends and strangers sleep at our couch.

兴趣

I like to be with friends, act in theatre, love photoshop and drawing. I´ve been doing latter for 9 years now with a lot of passion and even brought my drawing tablet to my Work-And-Travel year in Sydney. ;)

I also love to be around children and learn even the most random things, lend books from the library and try to teach me different languages.

I am a huge fan of movies and series and have a lot of them on my external drive ready to share them with you!

Mostly metal (and yes, christian metal exists! ;)), reagge and dubstep, as well as classical music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hugging my brother. This might not seem like something very special to you, but my brother is diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome and thus autistic. This means that he dislikes body contact very much, as well as socializing with other people and even though I helped raising him up and we are very close, it took me 17 years to do so.

As a native English and German speaker, I can share my knowledge of both languages and love learning tidbits from other languages, too!

I love drawing and have been teaching how to use photoshop to draw, edit and create manipulations casually in Germany.

As a future teacher of course I dearly love helping with homework and tutoring in art, history, philosophy, religion, and so on and so on! :)
