a passion for life for sure!!! a lover. adventurous. spontaneous. almost always happy and laughing. life is too short and really not that serious to be any other way. an over the top aka annoying optimist/idealist, but define reality. my idealistic views are my reality which comes from a happy positive place within. i know the world is not so beautiful for everybody and i'm sorry...i wish more than anything it was and i will try to help as many as i can but i will always remain positive and hopeful. negativity, pessimism, so called realism doesn't do any good so why carry that energy and be miserable. go out there and give a smile to a stranger. it's free and can change someone's day!!!

at this moment more of an observer but hope to get more involved this year.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

does it count even if they didn't really invite me? awkward situation but i was on the north shore of oahu partying with the pro surfers at the pipe masters. the girls had a place downstairs, the boys were staying upstairs. one guy was really giving me a bad vibe so i was about to sleep on the beach but i knew that wasn't a smart idea either. thankfully he did get me set up down in the girls place on their couch and said they would be fine...who knows, i left early cause i felt really really out of place and just went to hang out on the beach all day til i caught a bus back to my friends house in milalani. look forward to the next experience where i will actually be welcomed by the occupant!!!

Interests

a love for traveling: this year being the beginning of my around the world adventure!!! i want to see it all, experience all cultures, laugh and dance with people all over the globe!!! a passion for nature: being outside hiking, climbing, camping, backpacking, snowboarding, rafting, floating, reading, writing, meditating, laying under the stars, just BEing in the serene, pure beauty of nature is the life source to my soul!!! a love for photography: i want to capture the world through the eye of my lens!!! love reading; live music; laughing; arts; fashion (starting my own clothing line any moment); people; children; animals; recycling; picking up trash in nature after dirty birds (how can one litter in general let alone in such beautiful, peaceful places); writing (although i'm not good i do love it); poetry particularly slam poetry(but i don't read or write yet); words...i do love words, obviously; organic food, products, people; learning; growing...it's endless really.

Music, Movies, and Books

music...i LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! it is fuel for my soul as well. live music is my very favorite!!! as for recorded music i like just about all types that have a groovy beat and message. acoustic is probably what i listen to most. jack johnson being one of my favorites!

books ~ i do loooooooovvvvve to read!!! which only happened in the last 5 years or so. i used to be too ADD to read. i would try but could never get through a page and a book...forget it. then one day i finished life of pi which i started a year plus before and then read it again all the way through...great book by the way and i've been reading ever since. i love to read 'self help' (which i think is a terrible name for them cause i think it deters people from reading) metaphysics books, health books. basically anything to better myself spiritually, mentally, physically. i love to be constantly growing and learning!!!

movies ~ i do love movies too. definitely much better than 99.9% of what's on tv. but i choose to be outdoors or reading more. i love romantic comedies. into the wild is a favorite. love beyond borders, beautiful mind, tupac resurrected (his story is amazing).
