Hi! This is Yen Chen, or you may call me Elle (English name).
Taiwanese raised in Taipei city, very patient and passionate making friends. Majored in English in university. Like stories so I read classic work, history, and watch movies a lot.

I have joined international student summer camp host in Taiwan, that was one of the most unforgettable memories I have. Also, I went to the Philippines as culture exchange teacher in elementary school for one week. These experience makes me want to make more friends around the world.

I hope I could step on more countries' land and see those real scenes written on books.

Although I am not able to provide a couch because live outside myself, I can give you guide around Taiwan when you visit here.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

-I like story, especially personal life story. Every friend is like a book, I might not have chance to travel around the world but by making friends, I could experience their culture (topics, philosophy, food, living style). And also share mine.

-"Good food, good wine (maybe lol), good friends," there's nothing more luxurious than this.

Interests

- Reading, especially novels. One of my favorite authors is Murakami Haruki.
- Playing ukulele, not professional but able to play and sing along with melody
- Doodling, and keep my essence of thought (if any lol) in my journal
- Innovative, interesting activity (eg. Bubble Soccer, Maze breakout)
- Karaoke, well, I think I am an OK singer.
