About Me

To live and love to the fullest!

A little of our background: We met through a travel forum (via Lonely Planet) and took the chance of traveling with a stranger on an open-ended ticket. After 5 months of backpacking from Mexico to Ecuador, we realized that we had grown to love each other. A few months later, we have decided to keep the adventure going (in other words, we are getting married!!)

Regarding our personalities, Kim is an avid writer, to-be actress, and sometimes introvert. Roxana is passionate and outgoing, eager to read as many books as possible and sincerely connect with anyone who comes her way.

Kim: I believe that all living things together make up the cells and organs of a greater being. As soon as we learn to work together and cooperate, the body that is our Earth will thrive.

Roxana: There is nothing wrong with grey hairs.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

I had dinner with Condoleezza Rice, the former Secretary of State of the United States. All politics aside, it was an interesting experience to sit at a table with just Condi and 10 other women.-Kim

Traveling in the Middle East was an amazing experience! -Roxana

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn anything and everything that you can teach me! I can share my knowledge about studying in California, Chile, Berlin and Oxford. I'm not sure what else I can share but I'm always interested in a great conversation. --Kim

I have had lots of random stories to share from my travels, my upbringing in a bi-racial home, and my instinctive urge to go against the grind.
