I am a student at the University of Texas at Arlington, Ph.D. candidate in Aerospace Engineering.
I get to design SPACE-SHIPS for my job :)
I have been told a lot that I have a very good sense of humour (I personally think they are all trying to pull a lifelong practical joke on me).
I like to think I am one the most positive person I know. I believe in the tendency of the inherent goodness in people and nature being the smartest computer.
I recognize myself as a human first, an earth citizen who was born in India and been exploring the world. I plan to be on Mars one day, will be probably the first one hosting for CouchSurfers there.
Been in States for five years now, this is the first time I am CouchSurfing, although I have hosted a few of friend's friends.
And I do a decent job of pretending to be a smart guy most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said, I am a student.

And it's always best to meet a local, I travel for people as much as for place.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a 14000 ft peak recently (only last 3500 ft)... if that counts ?? .. though after driving straight for 15 hrs, 800 miles, in 9 deg F

I have a very solid plan of being a part of booming space industry, so I follow that and could tell you a bit about whats going on and how awesome its going to be pretty soon.
I am a student in college and a researcher, so I love to learn new things. I actively pursue new interests and hobbies every semester anyways.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Me and roommate have our own bedrooms, so canNOT share that. But living room, kitchen and bathroom are open to share. You can sleep on the couch in the living room, its pretty big for a tall person.(cause everything is bigger in Texas)
I have a backyard where I chill out everyday more than inside.
