ZAGREB

GETTING THERE :

by air : low cost

GERMANWINGS from Hamburg, Dortmund, Cologne, Stuttgart, Leipzig, Dresden, Berlin, Barcelona, Madrid, London Stansted, Munich, Zurich, Zweibrucken and Paris www.germanwings.com

RYANAIR is NOT flying to Zagreb. Closest Ryanair´s airports are Osijek, Rijeka, Pula and Zadar

EASYJET is flying to Zagreb from London, Paris and Dortmund

NORWEGIAN from Copenhagen

Zagreb airport - city center : direct bus costs 30 kunas (4 euros) or you can walk a few minutes and take bus 268 (or you can take 'speed bus 330' on the same route V.Gorica-Zagreb which doesn't stop after the airport until Zagreb city centre but this bus is runing only during rush-hours) from suburb of Velika Gorica to Zagreb main train station, costs 2 euros or zero if you enter on second door 'cos nobody checks the tickets but driver

HITCH-HIKING

if you're hitch-hiking from Zagreb to the coast don't do it on the road. ask somebody where's place called ROTOR and there hitch-hike on the gasoline station. it's much better 'cos people stop and they will take you if kindly ask
