I am a student at the University of Glasgow, studying Spanish and Portuguese in my second year. I just returned from a year living and stuyding in buenos Aires! Incredible. Dream of being a music journalist, a musician, a DJ, a travel journalist, a foreign correspondent! I love music. I love books, sometimes. I love films.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Surfed around Portugal for around three weeks, great times, great people, CS is the future! Couchsurfed in Chile on my way north, met cool people in BS AS.

Intereses

Music: listening, creating, writing about, performing. I play alto and soprano saxophone, attempt to compose electronic music and have recently forayed into DJing. Also enjoy writing and exploring through journalism (http://www.rhythmnroots.blogspot.com)

Books: Favourite author Kurt Vonnegut, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Terry Pratchet (as a teenager anyhow) love Russian novels (Turgenyev, Tolstoy, Pushkin...) Pablo Neruda and Borges recently. Currently reading The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Films: Not seen nearly enough films, Cohen brothers, Almodovar, Tarantino etc...

Algo increíble que he hecho

Spent five months traveling Central America, best thing to happen (so far) in my life. Especially Cuba, another world, truly, would love to return. Hiked in Corcovado National Park, Costa Rica. Year in Buenos Aires, months travelling round South America.
