ABOUT ME

I'm a typical Belgian, in that I am not the most outgoing person, but once you get to know me/us, you'll learn to love us. I am laidback and like to have fun Belgian style: eating, drinking more often than not in good company. I think travelling is important for selfdevelopment and Cs is an awesome way to share experiences and allow people to travel as much as they like at a low cost. I'm still studying atm, but that only means I have more time for things like Couchsurfing, so please, take advantage!
Furthermore I am obsessed with a few things: mainly music (many many genres but I like all kinds of electronic music the most), basketball both actively and passively (nba) and last but not least food! I love eating, cooking and discovering how other cultures go about exactly these things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have multiple couches on offer, I do a smashing city tour if you want to get to know Ghent city and sometime in the future I will call upon a fellow CS'er and actually stay on someone else's couch as well

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past I have already hosted a few Cs'ers under a different profile. All were really cool experiences, so I wanted to offer up my couch again to anyone in need...

Like I stated above,I love music, so that includes dj'ing, going to parties, concerts, festivals & bars but also buying way too much vinyl etc. I am also quite obsessed with basketball, both actively (recreationally) and passively (NBA watching). A different passion is food, so if you're interested in food at all, I could give a grand tour, with pleasure! but overall I'd describe myself as a true "pancake person": someone who knows little about a lot and is naturally curious about everything, which is a quality I appreciate in others as well. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

First off is the first time I had surfers over. It was a few years back and they both wanted to go to a music festival, hence their staying in Ghent. Luckily for them, I was going too and although my place at the time wasn't big at all, we connected over music and beer and had a wonderful three days despite one of them sleeping on the floor.
I love being en route to somewhere, sometimes the journey defeats the destination, and while traveling Spain via train for the first time on my own, we crossed the picos de Europa and it was just me, my headphones watching the mountains outside passing by. Quite close to perfection.
