About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To finish creating a studio space and make more time to be creative
ABOUT ME
I'm a creative type, I love socialising, travel, meeting new people, experiencing culture in all its forms. I love nature, gardening, walking, I hate television, I love learning. My life is spread between Bristol where I'm starting a new chapter in life and the West Midlands where I work and previously studied, I've lived for a long period in London and have always had a urge to travel and explore.
PHILOSOPHY
I think you should treat people as you'd like to be treated, exercise tolerance and keep an open mind. I suppose I'm near to Buddhism if I had to chose but wouldn't call myself religious in any way.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
New to this but done lots of it in the past without the aid of a website. I've been lent apartments and cars by virtual strangers and always been met in other countries with generosity and warm welcomes.
Interests
I love theatre, festivals, anything a bit quirky. I do a bit of taxidermy so my home has a few pieces around, if you don't like this sort of thing I'm not the host for you! I love live music, eating out and in, lively discussion, yoga, I'll give anything a go. I spend a lot of time making things, I have worked in many mediums, mostly textiles. I'm keen on D.I.Y, just coming to the end of a major house renovation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a trapeze artist in my younger days, which amazes me now as I've become much less physical as I've got older. This enabled me to travel lots, meet amazing people and see fantastic things. It's the most satisfying thing I've ever done in terms of 'work'. Travelling, all natural wonders are incredible, too many to mention, the wilderbeast migration, the northern lights. I've been very lucky!
Teach, Learn, Share
I like people that are willing share, discuss and exchange, I'm very into growing and developing as a person, that's why I love travel. I'm in the process of setting up a studio in my garden, so any skills sharing on the making front - I'm in.
