ABOUT ME

I recently moved back to Morocco for work following an MBA in Paris and am enjoying exploring more of Europe and Africa from my home base of Marrakech. I love meeting new people both at home and abroad and find that I often have the best adventures when I'm solo traveling.

Before doing my MBA I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Burkina Faso, West Africa for almost 3 years living in a 200-person farming community leading workshops on sustainable agriculture practices and environmental stewardship. This experience catalyzed my decision to get an MBA and work at the intersection of government policy, private businesses/investors, and development finance institutions to channel international finance flows to fight climate change in developing countries.

To date I've visited in 45 countries and 7 continents however I've stopped trying to rack up countries and am focusing instead on spending more time in places and getting to know them better. I've lived in California, Texas, DC, Hawaii, Morocco (3 times!), South Africa and France.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS in 2010 on a solo trip to Guatemala and had an amazing experience. Lately I've been taking more trips with friends and renting AirBnBs but for this upcoming solo weekend though CS might be more fun.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met up with a few people in Guatemala and had a lot of fun. Here in Marrakech I meet up with the local CS group to interact with travellers and share tips on Morocco.

I visited all 7 continents before I turned 21 which was a really big goal for me and I was really proud to have accomplished it.
