ABOUT ME

Growing up I was awkward so that taught me to be shy, but now I am tired of being a wall flower and watching everyone else have a wonderful time so I am getting up and joining the dance. I am excited about all the new adventures that are in my future!

PHILOSOPHY

'To each their own' has been my philosophy for more years then I can recall but just recently I added 'it's ok to wait' to help me remember to slow down and appreciate where I am and all that surrounds me in a particularly busy moment. And when I lived in Germany I have learned 'wenn shon denn shon,' which my friends tell me is a mix between 'go big or go home' and 'if you're going to do something you might as well do it right,' so I have added that to my list.

I have couchsurfed, met a nice climbing partner, made great friends, and gone to a really fun 80's game night slash potluck.

Interessi

I love conversations but mostly I love peoples stories. I love the outdoors; hiking, camping, canoeing, rafting, walking, creeks, mud between my toes, and so forth. Photography is a little more then an interest for me, it's more of a passion, I could look at photographs for hours on end. I love brownies, breezes, laughing, eating, all the crafts, and working with children.

Musica, film e libri

Movies: I'm a huge sucker for comedies and romantic comedies but I do enjoy a good action pack thriller from time to time.
Music: I like relaxing chill music that you can either sit in a hammock to or sing to in the car.
Books: I'm a slow slow reader and have always found young adult book delightful because they make me feel like I am a fast reader. Other then that, realistic fiction, happy endings, inspirational, and poems.

It sounds a little silly when I say it out loud but for me, an amazing thing that I have done, it would be leaving school to move across the world and become an Au Pair.

I enjoy making jewelry, taking old things and turning them into new and different thing, like earrings into bracelets and bracelets into rings.

I love a good conversation and learning new things. I enjoy being helpful and working hard. To me travel is not necessarily about the places you go but about the people you meet. So I would gladly share my time to sit and have a conversation, listen to music, help carry in groceries or other household tasks.
