ABOUT ME

Hello!
I am Louis-Philippe
I am Louis-Philippe. I live in Longueuil which is on the south shore of Montreal in Quebec. I am currently studying medecine at Université de Sherbrooke. I will be travelling in Costa Rica from August 2nd until August 22.

PHILOSOPHY

I think one should stay open minded in all situation and not judge rapidly. Always consider/focus on what you have not what you wish you would have.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I really like the concept of CS, a traveler has the chance to meet local people are really discover qhat the life in this region is all about. It is a unique way to travel. For now I am a traveler, but one day I wish to host people as well. I would enjoy showing a traveler what a great place Montreal is and what are the non touristic fun aspects of the place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My sister introduced CS to our family in 2010. Since then we have host once and it was very fun. My sister also travelled in Europe using CS and she described the experience in a very positive way. For myself I find the concept very interesting since it allows travelers to discover on an other level. It is a chance te meet people who can show you the real lifestyle of the regions they live in. It looks like a wonderful way to travel.

Interests

I have many interests and I am open for developping many more!
I like sports, moslty tennis, badminton, soccer and tae kwon do. Those are all sports I have had the pleasure to practiced. I think my most favorite is tennis though!
I like music, contemporary music like Arcade Fire, Patrick Waston etc. but also Classic. For classic I enjoy piano mostly, Chopin, Rachamninov, Liszt.
I love cooking bakeries!
I love science also. I am tutoring mathematics and sciences in my college.
Finally like I said I like to discover everything!

I traveled to Tadoussac in Quebec and I say giant blue whales!

My first language is French, so I think i would be able to teach it. I am pretty good in English too. Otherwise, I know the Québec Province and especially Montréal really well. Like I mentioned I am a tutor in Maths,if you need any help while I am in you city!
