ABOUT ME

I'm a teacher, based mostly out in Austria, teaching out here for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. When I'm not in Austria, I'm back at home in Newcastle upon Tyne.

I like originality both in personality and appearance. I'm a little bit daft and loopy but that's all part of the fun, right?

I'm trying to learn German at the moment. I studied it up to A level, and I can remember bits while I'm out in Austria, but I need to get it up to scratch!

As I travel a lot, I can't really host people in my house (as I'm not often there!) but I'd love to meet people when I'm out on my travels.

Music - listening to it, and going to gigs. It's the best way to discover great new bands!

I've performed for the Queen of England

I lived in Russia when I was younger

I've got family in Canada and America, so I have been to visit them a lot

I used to work for a radio station at my former university, so I had the opportunity to meet some bands.

Well as I'm an English teacher, I suppose that means I'm good at teaching English! :-p

I would love to meet up with some native German speakers to practise my German - you can also practise your English with me!

I also love learning other languages, even if it's just the basics or a few interesting phrases.
