我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Studying physiotherapy and helping people to trust and love their body again.

I had the joy to help a man with a hemiparesis, who was not able to speak anymore, to walk ten meters with only one arm and one leg function left.
I was his other half, walking together, really close to his body and making his leg to do every step he could not do by his own. Once we reached the end line, he looked at me and showed me the most beautiful half smile I had ever seen. He wanted to sit down to look back, he could not believe he had walked so far, and so did I. Sometimes it just needs some trust and courage.

Unfortunately, I cannot host anyone at my place because I am renting a room in a family house in Freiburg, but I am moving soon in June, so maybe a new Couchsurfing experience will start as a host.
