About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Experience life

ABOUT ME

I am a down-to-earth person. I like to dream big and work hard. Ideas work if you do. I am inspired by life. It's not always wonderful and that's ok. It's still amazing, though.

PHILOSOPHY

Practice makes perfect, but obsession makes better.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to participate without registering my own profile. I am looking to basically do the same - host people, show them around the place, be an active member of community. As far as my own travels are concerned, I am not going to travel as much as I used to in the next two years.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had some, off friends of mine. I've decided to participate more actively from now on.

Interests

Words. I love conversing, writing, creating ideas. Exchanges of information and communication fascinate me. Also sports - I bike and run a LOT. I am currently struggling trying to play table tennis correctly.

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to say - a lot of things, really. I try not to limit myself and would read, watch or listen to almost anything at least once.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once, when competing in a World Championship in a certain card game I play, I played against the best player in the world and walked away victorious. It felt... quite good. I knew I was worthy of that victory and that actually made it feel so real.

I have a fear of heights, but once I bungee-jumped off a bridge. I now fear heights even more, but the exposure to this whole moment was worth it.

Every day I see one of the most amazing things in the history of humanity. The human thumb! No one ever notices it, because we are so accustomed to it. But it's actually a small miracle that we can hold things they way we do.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you to play Magic: the Gathering :) I probably have a thing or two to say about dieting and doing sports. I can (and will, if you're interested) share my thoughts on art in general and creative writing in particular.
