ABOUT ME

Not really one for huge long-winded 'all about you' descriptions... Im an easy going, relaxed guy that's always up for something. Back in Wellington contemplating the next move after a fair of bit of time overseas in Asia and Europe. Got involved in couch surfing whilst traveling, was great to get more of a local than a tourist experience of different places. More than keen to show a bit of Wellington off for those who are on their way through...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hosted a few people here and there when I was living in Korea. Had my fair share of surfing experiences in many places on the road. I really value hospitality and think couch surfing is a great concept.

Interests

Traveling, music - playing, listening, gigs; sports - whether it be playing, watching, whatever - cricket, golf, football, etc; hiking, a few beverages, Kenny Powers, karaoke in the early hours, and yeah just generally bantering with people.... i could go on...

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... A wide variety including No Country for Old Men, The Wrestler, Donnie Darko, to name a few. 80s cheese... Top Gun, Point Break, Footloose... Big fan of The Wire, The Office, and Eastbound and Down when it comes to TV.
Books... Reading a fair bit of Chuck Klosterman at the mo. Good stuff!
Music... An endless list. From the old to the new. Dylan, Elvis, Stones, Fleetwood Mac, The Boss, Nick Cave, Duran Duran, Jeff Buckley, Radiohead, Wilco, etc, just to throw a few out there...

A general enthusiast of pop culture to some it all up!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've enjoyed a few sights and moments over time. To name a few. From the amazing... watching Everest at sunset in the Himalaya; swimming with whale sharks in the Philippines... To the random... seeing three Japanese Elvis's singing perfectly in a Tokyo park; some Nepalese guy playing Knockin' on Heavens Door Guns n Roses style during a Hindu cremation in Kathmandu.
