Hey there, I'm Luke, a 27 year old software engineer currently based in Toulouse. I'm half french, half english. Today I'm living in the country where I grew up, but spent most of the past years in the UK, studying physics and becoming an engineer. I'm passionate about many things: the science and technology that make up my work, but also the wide world of the arts. I love cinema, literature and especially music. I play the saxophone, the piano and the guitar, and moonlight as a music journalist. I'm always on board to exchange with the colourful people I meet during my travels and learn in turn about their passions, however brief our encounters may be. I look forward to meeting you.

This is what the internet does best. Connecting people from all over the place, erasing borders, and allowing us to learn from others and our differences, whilst reminding us of what we fundamentally share.

Interests

Music, cinema, history, physics... I like to be curious so most things can quickly become a source of interest and I love to ask questions. I really enjoy learning new languages so if you speak one that I don't, I'll probably ask you to teach me the basics :)
I like to travel and when I do I tend to find places to hike. When I travel I usually try to take my time, stroll lazily, get to know a place and meet people along the way.
When it comes to music, I am particularly interested in jazz and rock (prog, psychedelic, post-punk), but also in many forms of classical and electronic music. I’ve performed in several jazz and funk bands. I'm also a big rugby fan and a supporter of the Toulouse rugby team.
