First, let me say that I've had a connection with Couchsurfing for over 12 years now and it has changed so much since then. I took a nearly four-year hiatus from CS from 2019-2023 as I did not agree with its changes. I have just re-activated my profile.

My profile says I'm unverified but I'm not paying $60 to get verified as that was never the intention of the original founders of Couchsurfing. If you have concerns about staying or hosting, please just read my profile to see my references and experience on here since 2011!

I have had incredible experiences using this way to connect to people in the past. I am a nomad traveler at heart.

I work in Boston, MA for a nonprofit and teach piano and compose classical music. I stay active by biking and hiking. I am also a lover of craft beer, and chances are I'll be trying a new beer on a weekend.

I also love tornadoes and hurricanes. I actually went storm chasing with a few professionals back in 2011 - ask me about it!.

I have hosted a large, variety of people and groups in my past apartments, and have been a guest in many places throughout the U.S. and abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My favorite experience Couchsurfing was when I hitch-hiked around Iceland in 2015, for approximately 3 weeks and stayed with locals...mostly through CS.
