About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be one the road. Always.

ABOUT ME

Travel is my biggest passion. In 2009 I decided to try something different than regular holidays, so I hitch-hiked along the Norway coast. That was the beginning - since that moment I spend more time on the road than in my home. Travelling, volunteering, hitch-hiking, tramping and hiking in mountains around the world. In 2014 I suspended my academic course to travel around Middle East (Iran), South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia) and Balkans.

PHILOSOPHY

Who is the happier man, he who has braved the storm of life and lived or he who has stayed securely on shore and merely existed?
~Hunter S. Thompson

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I fount it out during my trip to the US. I was on a budget, started hitch-hiking and decided to join CS to meet people like me.

Interests

My two biggest passions are travelling and science (international relations, geopolitics, international law etc.). I have visited many European countries and now I am heading more and more distant places around the world to know other cultures, religions and people. You can read about my experiences on my blog www.choosetravel.pl.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm interested in international law, the interplay between human rights and new technologies such as AI (doing my PhD) literature, cinematography. I can also help advise in choosing tourist equipment for hiking or tramping. I like also history and geography, so we can have really interesting discussion about that. Or I can share some stories about my travels.
