Hi, everyone. I'm Daisy. My Chinese name is Zhang Lu. I'm happy to be called Daisy. And now, I am doing my master in education and i will graduate this summer very soon. So i am planning my graduation trip. I hope i can experience different culture and custom.
I like travelling everywhere, such as the great wall, Yungang grotto. I had seen very very wonderful star sky in grass land. I had climbed Mount Hua at night and saw the first sunlight in the first day of 2018. I once walked 20 kilometers in one day. I had seen elegant and refined scenery in the south of China, and also the wild mount and sky in the north of China. These beautiful scene are all exist in China. And now I wish to go out to see more beautiful, different scenery.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet up nice people around the world. i want to make friends with every people emerging in my trip way. I want to broaden my horizons and improve my knowledge. Be an free and brave girl.
And also i like introduce my country, my city and my life to every people if they have interest. If they have chance to go to China, I also am glad to be guider and couch-surfer for them.

Music, Movies, and Books

In terms of music, Céline Dion, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey are my favorite Europium and American singers. I like very much. when i were meeting some difficulties in preparing exam for master, i listened this songs and other their songs to overcame that period. They had the most touching voice that maybe a gift from god.
For movies, too many, every year i could meet some nice, touching or funny movie. For example, The shape of water, Friends, Pride and Prejudice(BBS mini tv), Zootopia, Coco, La La Land and recently played Ready Player One.
In terms of books, The little prince, Pride and Prejudice, The letter from an unknown woman are my stored books. The little prince told me how to cherish your lover and your tamed friend. after reading Pride and Prejudice, I started to love gentle England man and the beautiful England Pemberley house. I love Collin Firth. And now I am reading the book.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One night, the day before 1st January, I decided to climbed the Mount Hua with my friends. The weather is very cold, and mount Hua is very steep and dangerous. When my friend told me that she want to climbed at night, I was very shocked and persuaded her not to go. But one traveler I met said that almost 90 percent people would choose to climbed Mount Hua at night. one part of reason is that they wanna to see sunrise at Mountain. And another part of reason is that they wanna to have an adventure. So I rethink this thing and decided to go with my friends.
At that night, I heard many people are yelling "we are in Mountain Hua, happy 2018", "2018, we are together” when the time was near to 00:00. And I know they were celebrating the new year's coming in a special way. Their happiness passed to me, passed to everybody, made the whole mountain full of laughter, happiness and hope. So we climbed at the good observation deck of Mountain Hua very soon. At about 5:00 am, we had to huddle together to warm up and wait for the sunrise. And when we kept still, we right now felt cold. We took out all clothes as quilt to take a nap.
about 7:00 am, we wake up and start to went forward to see sunrise. But the weather was cloudy, the sun was expected up at 7:30 am. we saw nothing but grey cloud. many people left. My friends wanna left, too. I told her insist a bit more time. maybe more 30 minutes. we felt sleepy again because we were too tired and lacked of sleep. so do you wanna to know whether we had seen the sunrise at last? i would tell you if you invite me as your couch potato.
