Overview
About Me
Traveling the world, connecting with like-minded people, all about learning new things and sharing experiences. Love all things healthy and (environmentally) conscious, vegetarian cooking, being outside in nature, practicing yoga and meditation. I enjoy discussing philosophy, society, culture and spirituality over a nice cup of coffee or a good glass of wine. Some of my favorite things to do while traveling are finding hidden gems of nature (beaches, parks, etc), as well as the best cafes for said coffee and/or wine, going to markets from food to clothing and everything in between, enjoying live music, going to all the second hand books shops there are, and exploring by foot or bicycle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Looking for an authentic experience of the world, through the eyes of a local and stepping outside my comfort zone. I believe in the good in people and connecting to amazing souls is the best part about traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all music, for every mood or day a different genre.
Fat Freddy's Drop, My Baby, Eddie Vedder, Pete Philly, Billie Holiday, and anything 70s rock.
Always reading at least 2 books at the same time. Mostly books that make me think or help me grow as a person, or really good fiction (Haruki Murakami, Yanagihara)
When I watch TV or movies, I like it to be positive, moving or inspiring, no violence or Hollywood type media (although there are always exceptions of course).
But I mostly watch documentaries about food/history/culture/society/nature/science/biography, etc.
Some of my favorite movies: Intouchables, Into the Wild, Amelie, and anything by Wes Anderson.
And I also like listening to podcasts! Any suggestions always welcome :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The best thing I ever did was quit my job, pack my bag and leave home to explore the world! Almost a year later and no plans to go back anytime soon.
Some of my recent most memorable experiences have been:
Ayahuasca plant medicine ceremony
Yoga teacher training in India
Vipassana meditation course
