我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am hoping to couch surf a little around the states while I have some time off this year. I will be bringing my polite companion, a german shepard cross named Nelly.

兴趣

I love being in the outdoors, climbing trees and mountains and finding new adventures. I absolutely love snowboarding, am a huge fan of dancing and can sometimes cook a pretty good meal!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

My first trip out of country was on a cruise, just a really lazy way to travel and get snapshots of different countries. The best part of it was definitely waking up at 5am to go through the Panama Canal. The boat seemed to hardly fit and was being kept straight by ropes attached to little trains. It was unbelievable to see this amazing piece of human engineering.

Another really cool experience was a few summers ago, in Nicaragua, going to the only volcano in the world that you can slide down. Looking back I could have done way better, and gone way faster but just the fact that you could feel the heat from the crater before you went down was exhilarating enough. Its something I would really love to do again. Maybe next time I can get some real speed.
