ABOUT ME

I can say I am a intense and sensitive person that loves new experiences, this is one of the reasons I like to travel so much. I love adventure, reaching extremes, getting out of my confort zone. I really don't need many things to be happy if I have good company. My main interest when travelling is not simply to meet new places but to get to know new interesting people and their culture. I believe you can learn so much about the world and yourself`by getting in contact with differences.

PHILOSOPHY

If somebody gives you a lemon, don't complain, make a lemonade. I am not saying that I can always do this, but I try. Haha. Just make the best with what you have. Try to learn something everyday, this way you keep life interesting, like it is for a child. And never forget to help everyone you can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As a good psychologist I have this passion for people. I love to meet new interesting people, make friends, learn about their lifestile and culture, and share some good moments with them. I like to be more of a pilgrim than a tourist. So what a better way to do that than to surf on locals couches.

Interests

I have been realizing more and more how much nature is important to me. I love waterfalls, rivers, lakes, seas, mountains, beaches. Even though I have been mostly hiking and trekking, I think any other sport played in nature could be nice too, I absolutely love an adventure. Following this aproximation to nature I really try to pay as much atention as I can to my consumption patterns, thinking about my health and the environment. So I can't eat animals anymore, I just love them. I won't try to convince you to become vegetarian, but if you ask about my reasons for not eating meat I will give you a 100 of them.
Spirituality is also a big part of my life and I fell happy to get in contact with any form of it, as long as you preach love and not prejudice. I specially prefere to meditate, do yoga and mantras and I try to do it as much as I can.
Furthermore I am very passionate about cultures and different forms of expression, arts, music and most of all dancing. I am not much of a party girl but if you invite me to dance I will almost certainly be up for it, specially if it is a tradicional dance.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I will be happy to share travelling and life experiences. I love to present as much as I can of my culture. I really like to share joyful moments talking, dancing (I can try to teach you some brazilian moves, haha) and even cooking (I can cook some nice vegetarian dishes) and trying different dishes.
