Hi, I'm Luc!
I grew up in North Finistere, Brittany, so obviously I like sailing, kitesurfing, I know how to make creps, and I use salted butter for cooking in any situation :)
I lived in Toulouse, south west of France, until recently I was a researcher working in fluid mechanics around engines and renewable fuels. I'm taking a year off, maybe more, to travel the world. First backpacking from France to Turkey and the way back through the Balkans esencially by train. The second part will take place in south America, by bike, crossing from North to South.
We travel with my girlfriend Clementine.

Hi ! I am Clémentine and I am an illustrator and tattooer, working mostly in France during the past 10 years but also travelling for work in Spain, England and some other places in Europe.
After this 10 years of tattooing, I decided to take a year off for travelling with Luc and gather new inspirations, meeting new people and other cultures.
I am used to do bike packing in France so I proposed him a big big adventure trough South America by bike ! and HE SAID YES ! But first, we will spend our spring in trains, an Interrail in the pocket, to discover together more about eastern Europe.
I am not from Brittany, but we share this crazy passion for salted butter, and making jokes on a daily basis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As we are on the same page about our expectations on those travels, we agreed on subscribing both on couchsurfing and warmshower, as we really want to meet the locals. For us, it stays the best way to share about culture, food, history, folklore, events... and so on.
