ABOUT ME

That I'm a really friendly person who shares pretty much anything but that I also know what I want ans when I want it. That I'm easy-going, interested in a wide variety of subjects, but at the same time that I have rather radical views on certain topics. Basically I'm a fun person to be with but it also takes a bit of time to understand me ;-)

Interests

I love reading, watching movies and traveling, that pretty much sums it up, but even in those there is a vast variety of options. I read fast and have tons of books at home, mostly fiction but some others as well, I have pretty much every movie which I ever liked in my collection, and am willing to go pretty much anywhere my bank account allows me to go at that particular moment :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've seen a lightning bolt strike the pavement about 10m away from me, and I survived two plane rides where the aircraft was actually plummeting towards the ground either through engine malfunction (in the first case, VERY bad for the contents of your stomach) or really bad turbulence (the second time around, which was less than a year ago and not so bad, all the engines were actually functional). Those were things pretty awesome, even if a bit terrifying, to see or live through.
What I have done is teach a whole load of kids in Bangkok, Taipei and Prague over my 13-year teaching career and a certain percentage of that is bound to have used whatever I taught them to achieve something in their lives by now, be it at some higher learning school or at jobs, depending on how old they were when they started with me back then. I think that's quite awesome :-)
