About Me

Well.. what about me? I'm a friendly, open minded, easy going and curious person.
I was born and raised in Rimini, a little town in the north of Italy witch is known for its sea and nightlife, but for me it's true wealth is in the people: warm, funny, welcoming and food lovers!
I love my city and my family but when I moved to Bologna three years ago for studying Mechanical Engineering I found out how much you can receive from a new city, so I abandoned my habits and I threw myself in a new experience witch until today has given me so much.
I was scout for many years and this experience left me too much autonomy, attention to the weak and a great passion for adventure and volunteering:
even today I am serving in a host structures for refugees minors , and I love the relationship I have established with them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My girlfriend (this is her profile on CS, look how sweet she is :) https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/caterina-trapani ) graduated in graphic design in March and I thought to give her a purse or a jewel was too little.. so I opted for an unusual gift: an interrail pass to visit all Europe from the first of May until the 15th!
While we're organizing the trip we discovered the Couchsurfing reality, and it seemed a great opportunity, we are fascinated to know a foreign city not with the eyes of a tourist but with those who live there.

Interests

I love swimming, hiking, cycling and ride my beautiful motard.
But I also like lighter things like listening music and have a nice talk in front of a glass of wine ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2012 I've been in Iceland with my scout's group. We did the 'Laugavegur Hiking Trail' and we walked threw amazing routes: lava fields, colorful mountains, huge lakes.
Every day you found yourself in a different scenery, with views of an incredible spectrum of colors that you can find nowhere else.
I think once in a lifetime everyone should go there!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my cooking skills, and I'll be happy to help doing something for the house or contributing the fridge :)
