Hey, I'm Luca.

I used to be an Export Manager till six months ago, I travelled the world for business, but that wasn't enough to me as my dream was to live by and with my passions everyday: photography, videomaking, music, blogging.

That's why the day before my 31st birthday I turned my life exactly as I wanted to be and in 10 minutes I decided to leave my job, book a flight plan my next three years around the world.

I'm a positive and life enthusiast guy who loves cultural exchange. I like meeting people from all around the world, hang out, make new friends and enjoy life from a social point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing as I find it a really exciting way to travel and live the local life of a place. I define myself definitely not a tourist, I'd rather feel as world citizen so I'm not actually interested in stayin' inside the touristic circuits and experiences.

Plus as I already said above, I'm really excited to meet new friends and people from all around the world, any better opportunity than this?!

Music, Movies, and Books

I was raised on rock and that's definitely the music that make feel at home. How ever I love any kind of good made music especially: rock 'n roll, crossover, modern rock, blues, hip hop, reggae, electro and even dance sometimes.

My fav movies...well hard question for me, here you are just some of them: Shining, The Departed, Django, The Devil's advocate, Pulp Fiction, Shutter Island, The Dark Knight, Scarface, Blow, Rocky, Clockwork Orange, Fight Club, American History X, Inside Man, Frankenstein Jr.

It has been a while I'm not reading novels unfortunately as I'm focused on didactical stuff, but among my fav: Johnatan Livingston Seagull, Inferno (Dan Brown's), Lost Echoes (John Lansdale),

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well I don't find unbelievable, but brave enough and it has been leaving my job and leave to travel the world, without a fixed plan and just with a big curiousity to discover the world and its cultures and trust in myself.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that sharing is main thing and key of our existance. To be happy, to enjoy, to learn and to grow up it's all about sharing, and that's definitely my favourite thing.

So I am always very happy to share my passions with someone who has the same ones, to learn new skills and teach mines.

What I Can Share with Hosts

First of all, I'm Italian and I love to bring all over the world one of the most famous things of my country: food.
So let me use your kitchen and I'll cook for you all kind of pasta and special italian dishes.

I'm not a professional cook, but I like preparing food with love ;)

On the other hand I'm a photographer and videomaker if you like pictures and videos we can have a lot of fun with together with this too, either you want to go out and practise with your camera or being subject of some cool pics!

Last but not least I'm a good company if you like to hang out, laugh, talk and as well I can be a very autonomous guest if you have your things to do and just want to share few moments with me during my stay.
