About Me

Hello! I'm Luca, an aspiring stand-up comedian currently on a sabbatical year.
In my previous life I had a real job as a software developer, but I left it to explore myself (and the world) for a while.
Never mind, AI would have taken my job sooner or later anyway.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'd love to make my trips much more meaningful by connecting with new people and cultures along the way. With that, I'd like to share stories and try food that's unknown for me 😋

Music, Movies, and Books

Music

Mostly italian rap, "Sotto la cintura" and "Soul of a Supertramp" are the two main albums in my heart. I also enjoy punk rock concerts to have fun and absolutely love listening to indie on road trips 😍

Movies
First ones that come to mind are Deadpool, Joker, the first fast and furious movies (before they started violating every law of physics), and many more that I don't remember

Books
I'm not a big reader. Not even a small one. But I just finished "Succede sempre qualcosa di meraviglioso" ("there is always something wonderful happening") which was truly inspiring and almost made me believe that I've been a Buddhist Monk in a previous life.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove 6 hours and slept in my car, converted to a micro-camper, to see a single car temporary exhibit in Munich, totally worth it (yes I could have gone for a hostel and a flight, but where's the fun there?)

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning about almost everything, I can teach you some Italian language or just how to make a good pasta 🍝

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook a good "Spaghetti alla carbonara" (one of the best Italian dishes) or some nice vegan alternatives (I love making vegan pad thai, if ingredients are locally available).

I could also help cleaning around the house or maybe with some chores, just ask!

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom
