My name is Luca. Even though the name itself is Italian, I am German.
I have been a student for a while now (fields of interest and combinations are broad) and try to always explore news places and sites, no matter if it is the city I am living in or on the next trip.
I don't smoke, am open minded and love adventures even though they scare me before I start them!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

If I didn't enjoy meeting new people from all around the globe I wouldn't be here.

During my travels I received so much kindness, helpfulness and support - without conditions. I am really looking forward to the point where I can give back more than gratefulness, a smile and a hug.

In my opinion, during a stay at someone's place it is important to balance and respect me-time and hanging out together. However you won't find any references as I have only stayed with people out of CS or joined a host together with a friend.

Once I have read that every stay in a hotel causes 2kg of litter/person/night (can vary I guess).. in this way CS is also to be preferred in an ecological sense!

Theres some authors from different European countries I like. Right now I am reading "Brief history about capitalism".
For movies I can't stand blockbusters, Marvel-super-heroes as well as horror stories but enjoy art-house cinema and intensive productions.

My skydiving-adventure and the amazing view over the alps during that was an incredible kick of adrenaline!

My philosophy for travels is that I really have to kick myself out of comfort zone. It’s cosy at home but the real adventures happen outside. I love having friends around the world and learning about different rituals and habits in other countries. Also I always ask for traveling experience in the countries I want to go to, which currently are Scotland, Israel, India, Nepal, Greece and places I haven't thought of yet ;-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I think I am a calm person and enjoy listening to others stories and exploring and exchanging other humans perspective on the things of life! If you are a climber I am always down for exploring the local crag! :-)
