About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find out what is my mission... then discard it and going on doing whatever comes to my mind.

ABOUT ME

I'm a dreamer who sometimes uses things to dream better: alcohol, written and visual wisdom, written and visual sickness, foreign countries, strangers. I used to write something down, but now... let's say that I am undefinitely taking my time to collect materials, a lot of materials. No, I won't write anything on all of this. I will feed on this on and on and on.

PHILOSOPHY

I know every inch of this room. This room knows every inch of me. Except one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Oh, I use to make a wonderful coffee! Provided that I have a decent coffee maker. And decent coffee. Now I'm using Nescafè, so I hope my conversation will be enough for you. For the moment I can't offer a couch, because I don't own the couch in my living room. Nor I own my living room. Nor my flat. It's a good thing Dublin has so many good cafeterias... No, really, it ennoys me so much because I enjoy being a host, a good host I hope. For the moment, how about an espresso somewhere?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far I only surfed on my couch in Vicenza and on the one in the flat I rent. I surfed also in a party hosted in the Blue Goose the 16th of August, which aroused my sympathy and curiosity (that is all of my soul)...

Interests

Movies, music, books (see below). Comic books. Surrealist art. Fantasy, in the broadest sense (from Moorcock to Borges, you can figure what a mess). FantasIES, in a still broader sense - to the barely legal. Human sympathy, provided that I manage to overcome my fears - which happens only one out of a hundred full moons. Landscapes, horizontal and verticals. Beer, coffee, wine. Meat - from any living creature. Flesh - from any living creature.

Music, Movies, and Books

V for Vendetta: the graphic novel, not the cheesy movie. Bradbury, The October Country. Blade Runner (like tears in the rain). Memento (Awake. Where am I?). Dummy, by Portishead. Anything by Tori Amos. Something by Nine Inch Nails. OH HELL, THERE ARE SO MANY!!! So frustrating. Anyway I use to be enthusiast about one or two things for a couple of months, then I switch to something else. I told you, I'm curious.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sahara, the sea of sand... It stays with me even now.

Teach, Learn, Share

I should have something...somewhere...you just look and take what you like, I'm too lazy to search, just take it. What I would learn...I'll know when I'll find it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Egypt, Turkey

Countries I’ve Lived In

Ireland, Italy, Russian Federation, Spain
