Hello Couchsurfing community!

My name is Lucas and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you! Id love to learn about your city, hidden gems, and little tips to get around the city. I am passionate about food, language, culture, adventure and I love to try (almost) anything once!

I used to be on Trusted Housesitters and have housesat/petsat for my hosts before so I know how to be a responsible guest to your home and to your fur-kids!

I was born and have mostly lived in Toronto, Canada. I’ve also lived in Prague, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and briefly in China as well as France!

To potential surfers/guests:

I’m currently living in a shared space - a couple (F). They don’t use CS, but they were generous to open our space for this, so I want them to have a good impression of what this community is.

We work mostly from home so due to our working and living arrangements, we prefer shorter stays ~2 nights and if you like to head out early to explore. If you are home, we prefer if one of us is home - at least until we get to know you a bit more.

Please be clean, respectful, and make an effort to be good guests (no entitled behaviour and please don’t treat it like your hotel - it’s not what CS is about), so we can continue to host and give to the CS community!

I think Couchsurfing bring like-minded people together - those physically travelling and those with an adventurous spirit. I think everyone here has something in common, even from such different walks of life.

I can share travel stories, and language! I can also share some local tips on travelling to Canada if you’re deciding to go :)

I can also cook if we have the space and time to share a home-cooked meal together! If you know a dish from your culture I’d love to try that as well!
