About Me

"It doesn't always help us to love the world, but it does prevent us from hating the world."

The glass is always half-full, a smile can go a long way, and "hello" even further... I am positive, embracing and passionate. I love to have fun, even with the simple things in life, and laugh, as much as possible. I am creatively charged and full of ideas, questions and conversations... to learn more about me all you need to do is provide me the opportunity! :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Easy. To me, there is no better way to gain a real insightful and genuine experience of a city, town or little village than hanging, chatting, drinking, dancing and staying with the locals.

Interests

All over the map here - gardening, dancing, cooking!!!, making coffee and then drinking it... creative writing, meeting new people, hockey (obviously), (electronic) music played loudly, biking, community-building, adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - lots of House. Disco. Hip-hop. Soul. R&B. Top 40 jams. Latin.

Movies - Home Alone (One, Two, and damn right Three is also great), Ocean's Eleven (and other heist dramas), Ratatouille (and the good kinda animated ones), Inspirational, Love, and no superhero movies.

Books - The Alchemist is my all-time fav and the one I have to mention by title, other than that... travel, self-help, philosophy, non-fiction, adventure.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Biking Highway 101 from Port Angeles to Portland without much training, preparing or expectation. It is also the most rewarding and generally one of the best things I have done in life.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - language, cooking, life experience, positivity.

Learn - gardening, dance, food for thought.

Share - not very possessive, happy to share what I have: coffee, friendship, good chat.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Happy to cook and clean and contribute to general household activities. Always willing to play cards or a board game. Sharing stories, life lessons and other slices of life. Being a "yes man," going along for the ride, creating memories.

Countries I’ve Visited
