Hoi Hoe gaat het?

I’m Lucas, a Dutch Industrial Product Designer, part time leather crafter and travel lover. Currently in-between things and working as a flex worker for several jobs. I would describe myself as adventurous and creative.

**Planning a roadtrip to France from 4-13th of July with a friend**

Some random facts about me:
- I use my fork with my right hand and my knife with my left hand.
- I use an oldschool Nokia brick phone as my daily phone. (i still do reply fast on messages from CS)
- I prefer to wear my socks inside out.
- I collect pictures with food related puns. For example: "Let's ketchup soon" and "Something to taco 'bout"
- I can be a bit hangry from time to time. (If so, pls give food ;)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I ‘learned’ to travel with my parents. They are real travelers and i joined then often. Now that I am traveling myself, I am looking for what a country or culture really has to offer. More than what you would see if you went to jus the touristic places.

I believe that you experience a country or culture much more by meeting locals and making new friends. They also know where to find the hidden gems and best places to go. For me, CouchSurfing is not just a free place to stay. I'm on Couchsurfing to meet new exiting people and explore a culture.

If you are at home not able to travel the world, you still can bring the world into your home by inviting fellow travelers. That is why i am hosting on CS.

I am not on Couchsurfing to use it as Tinder, for binge drinking or drugs.
