Hey internet stranger, my name is Lucas. And here is a brief introduction, so you can check if you'd actually like to meet me.

I'm a university student, studying in the small town of Wageningen. Trying to get a degree and figuring how to become better at being an adult :p

My day to day consists of: Studying; hanging out with my lovely friends; listening to all the music and improving myself physically through bodyweight strength training or bouldering.
When I can (and my budget allows) I like to travel and/or go to festivals.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to see more of the world than just the tourist spots (or skip them entirely) and meet all kinds of people from around the world with different perspectives than my own. Through CS any place I'll visit will be far more distinctive and interesting than through some cookie cutter hotel. Talking about cookies, if you read this far you deserve one. Send me a message with "een koekje alsjeblieft" and I'll try and give you a cookie (or alternatively a high five) if we end up meeting.

Okay, anyway... most couchsurfers I've met thus far have been kind, caring and sociable; and all were at the very least an interesting experience. So I'd love to meet more of you :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I woudn't say I've done amazing things, but some cool stuff I've done is:

-Cycle to France from the Netherlands (about 1000km in the end)
-Make dinner for complete strangers occasionally
