About Me
Traveling across Europe right now, bought a one way ticket from Canada.. traveling with an open mind, whatever happens happens! Definitely want to meet some locals along the way, which is why I want to do some Couchsurfing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm a fresh graduate without much money and am interested in getting to meet locals throughout my travels, because I believe the purest form of travel comes from learning about and being immersed into new cultural experiences. This isn't so easy to do by only staying at hostels and going on pub crawls.. not that that stuff isn't fun, but I believe there's much more to traveling than just that.
Plus, perhaps most importantly, the potential for making genuine new friends is much greater on Couchsurfing than in hostels in my opinion.
Interests
Music - both playing (guitar mainly) and listening to all types
Exercise - all types; endorphins are addicting
Sight seeing - I like tourist attractions just as much as traveling off the beaten path
Sports - purest form of entertainment that exists, can never predict what's going to happen. Not to mention large sports events have the power to bring large groups of people together like nothing else!
Traveling - Also addicting. After every trip I take, I dream about the next one. Want to extend my current trip as long as possible, even if I stop and work somewhere a little while!

- music
- hiking
- backpacking
- sports

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I like music that is musical, not just a catchy beat. Always open to giving new music a chance, the mainstream gets old quickly.
Movies: Comedies, documentaries and "real" stories are what usually peak my interest.
Books: Autobiographies and Memoirs are easily my favourites.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Having the opportunity to study engineering on exchange in Australia, while having my then girlfriend with me the whole way (Ashley - mentioned in my references). Life changing. Probably was the origin of my travel bug.
Also, having done both bungy jumping and skydiving were life-changing. Highly recommend both!
Teach, Learn, Share
Fully qualified lifeguard (pool) so I think that encompasses teaching, learning and sharing.. I only wish I was a real Lifeguard on the ocean beaches! I'm pretty knowledgeable in math, science and music as well; those have been my main interests the past few years, when I haven't been on the road!
