Music, Movies, and Books

I used to do filmmaking so I’m really into films! Favorites include Hot Fuzz, Baby Driver, Pacific Rim. For TV some favorites are Only Murders in the Building, Community, Avatar the Last Airbender, Daredevil.
For music I’m all over the place. In addition to the more typical music I listen to video game and movie soundtracks, K-pop, French rap, etc. But if I had to pick a few bands I’d say my favorites are Panic at the Disco and Ok Go.
Unfortunately I don’t read many books anymore, if I’m reading it’s usually academic papers. But I do listen to audiobooks. Born a Crime is one of my favorites there.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve done about a dozen different styles of dance! I did K-pop and Bhangra in high school, a bunch of different Latin dance in college, and when I lived in NYC I took Horton, west African, etc. at the Alvin Ailey school.

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m happy to teach my hosts / guests anything about my research! I’ve been a little all over the place in theory for machine learning robustness / learning guarantees, but these days I'm trying to focus on applications for natural sciences like physics and chemistry.
Also happy to teach my hobbies if possible! (Dance is easy but surfing / longboarding / electric unicycles require equipment.)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I basically just have the floor in my room. I can offer my sleeping bag / blankets but there's not much in the way of padding.
