Designing a healthy, self-sustainable lifestyle and practising skills to develop a healthy substance to have a firm base to be a good person and helpful and grounding to people and the environment around me.

ABOUT ME

I guess I'm generally happy, I like meeting new people. I am active, and practice a traditional North Eastern Chinese Martial art named Bajiquan. I like a clean space and appreciate when everyone takes care of themselves and takes responsibility for their actions. I don't mind cleaning up after people, but I don't like when people depend on me for it unless we agreed.

PHILOSOPHY

Be healthy, happy, and always do your best. Work hard, follow your dreams. I live for love! People are individuals, all are free to be who they want to be and do what they want to do. Live and let live and be happy with what you have and keep living.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can share some knowledge of Taiji, different qi gong, some meditation, and a few gongfu forms. I like to cook and prepare food! I am a neat person and keep my environment clean. I like to help people, and have learned how to maintain my centre so as not to get drained too fast :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

Pretty much what people play for me is what I listen to, recently been hearing punk, heavy metal, hip hop, trance, trip hop and more.
I like a lot of different movies. Especially comedies, martial arts movies, some sci fi too.
I don't read much fiction. I like to find books that merge two different pradigms of thought on an equal plane of discussion to come to no conclusion other than my own.

My travels in the Wudang mountains were one of the most impressive experiences of my life.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I have been studying and practicing martial arts for a while. Unfortunately I take long brakes in between... I know some Shaolin wushu, specifically one form, I know some Baji Quan, I can share a couple of Taiji forms, and I know some other practices in the realm of Chinese health methods. I also know the basic permaculture principles, and have some experience in temperate climate and in tropical climate now. I am always very grateful for people sharing their knowledge about health broadly. Including massage styles from all over the world, martial arts, philosophy, meditations, energetic practices, fitness practices, personal experiences etc...), and about anything to do with horticulture, forestry, and biology. I am interested in a very broad spectrum of things, but keep my personal practice personal (so I can keep track of my studies because I have easily taken on too many interests in the past), and stay open to sharing everything with everyone.
