ABOUT ME

I am an easy going and open minded person. I am outgoing, spontaneous, do a lot of sports to counterbalance the student life (party but studiing also) and love guitar and metal music. For the last couple of years I've been into ultimate frisbee and disc golf for what I love to spend most of my leasure time.
I think it is important to have a critical opinion on any subject related to our western life style and I'm sure the official version never tells the truth!

PHILOSOPHY

The better the self-organization the more leisure time you get (regarding quantity and quality)!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to host as many people as possible but Im often too busy with uni and work.
I am absolutely convinced that besides living in a country the cs-system is the best way of getting to know the people and culture of the travelled country.
When I meet non-cs people I try to (verbally) convince them of the awesomeness of this community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Vancouver, Calgary, Jackson Hole, Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal. Also I did cs in Europe. Most of the times in Innsbruck, Austria and all over Germany (cs in my hometown not counted of course).
On my travels through Canada me and my friend even got the key for the appartement or house sometimes. It was great times and we really felt welcome! In Toronto we even felt like members of the family.

Brutal movies, and movies that have a deceptive story line. A bad movie is a waste of time so I turn off a lot of movies or split them into a bunch of episodes...

Lived in Whistler for a Season, Record amount of snow and a night job that allowed me to ski every single day. Got over a hundred days of skiing and it changed the way I look at mountains. Cant wait for the next winter!!
National Parks in Alberta, Montana and Wyoming are really cool!
