18 years old and visiting Australia on a working holiday visa. I've been here for about 5 weeks now, first in Melbourne but now I ended up in Sydney. (pretty funny story).

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

A friend in Melbourne told me about it, she met some great people while couchsurfing and had a good time. Sounds good! Besides that, money can be tight as a backpacker :(

I have never couchsurfed before and I'm curious how it will go. If you guys make my experience enjoyable, I'll definitely offer my place in Germany for it as well :)

Intereses

Travelling and...People! Yeah, Australia's got a lot to offer - be it the landscapes, animals, cities... but I came here for the people. Whenever someone told me about his stay in Australia, the kind people (both residents and backpackers as it turns out) were always the first thing they mentioned.

Besides that, I enjoy learning new languages. I'm learning dutch right now, it has gotten a little better during my stay here because there's a lot of dutch people around - they mostly want to speak english though since they're learning that, haha

Love music from the 50s-70s, mostly just "Dadrock" though.

Electronic music of all kinds.

I don't read too much go be honest... what I've enjoyed was George R.R. Martin's "A song of Ice and Fire" (both the books and the show) and Goethe's Faust.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Two friends and I backpacked to Amsterdam starting at the german border in the summer of 2014 - almost 300km of walking! It's nothing amazing, but I'm proud of it.

I guess I can teach you some german or dutch if you'd like. I know one or two cheap magic tricks :)

Work, some food, a few cigarettes (I won't smoke if you're a nonsmoker, it's more of a social thing for me), funny stories... whatever I can help you with, honestly.. If you need any help with a project or other stuff around the house, let me know and I won't hesitate to help you out! Unless it involves insects... it's an irrational fear, but I can't help it haha
