PHILOSOPHY

Looking to connect with people while travelling, cook together, share meals, stories and laughs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Very open to anything in the lines of exploring an unknown city, traveling without a planned itinerary and conversing with friends yet unknown. I'm very quiet, clean and I enjoy cooking very much!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Some Couchsurfing experience, both staying with others and hosting. I love it, either way, always stay in touch with good people.

Interests

I enjoy hiking, rock climbing, camping and being in the water. I have a deep passion for the sea. This has led me to a life of professional freediving and spearfishing.

I enjoy touring and exploring new cities very much. Getting to know new languages, people and cultures.

Wilderness is not a luxury, but a necessity of the human spirit :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music Lately: Fleet Foxes, Alt-J, Mumford and Sons, Sixto Rodriguez, Xavier Rudd, Medicine for the People, The Lumineers

Always open to listen and dance to new musical styles...I'm not that person at the party that constantly tries to plug in his iPod to impose his musical preference.

Authors Lately: Bukowski, Kerouac, Hesse, Kafka, Garcia Marquez

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sunrise at Macchu Picchu, midday at Khardung La and sunset in Bali :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing by knowledge of freediving, breathwork, yoga and meditation. An avid cook, I enjoy cooking and feasting with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love cooking and baking very much. If there's one activity that connects anybody in the world with any religion, culture or language...it's the sharing of food. It turns strangers to friends almost instantly. It's simply the one thing every human being has in common with each other, and with all aspects of nature really.

So I enjoy very much cooking up a big meal with people, drinking wine and sharing stories. It's quite natural really; our ancestors have been doing it for millennia, it's only very recently that the individually prepared fast-food meal has been introduced to us.

I can enjoy anything from going surfing, grabbing a beer at a bar, crusing the alleys in bikes or going camping at high altitudes.

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Bolivia, Egypt, Greece, Grenada, Honduras, India, Mauritius, Montenegro, Morocco, Nicaragua
