About Me
"Overland traveler on a mission: Singapore to Africa by land. No planes, just trains, buses, ferries and feet. I've just crossed Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, and Russia. Currently exploring the Baltics and heading to Scandinavia!"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe the best way to understand a country is through its people.
After months on the road across Asia, I want to share stories about the Trans-Mongolian and Trans-Siberian n railway, the borders of China, and the cultures I've met.
I'm traveling light (no camping gear!) and looking for meaningful exchanges.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: 'The Little Prince' (Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) – because we are responsible for what we tame. I also love Paulo Coelho's books like 'The Alchemist'; they resonate deeply with my current journey of following my personal legend across continents.
Music: I have a very eclectic playlist from my months on the road! I love showing people some good Brazilian music (from Bossa Nova to modern beats) and discovering local artists from the countries I cross."
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Definitely my current journey! I’m traveling from Singapore to Africa entirely by land. So far, I’ve crossed Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, and Russia. Taking the Trans-Mongolian railway and crossing the borders of Central Asia and Siberia by bus and train has been the most challenging and rewarding experience of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you Portuguese, share the secrets of budget overland travel across Asia, and how to cook a basic but delicious Brazilian meal.
Learn: I’m eager to learn about local history, traditions, and a few words in your language. I’m also interested in learning how locals survive (and enjoy!) the cold weather here in the North.
Share: I offer my stories, my help around the house, and a positive Brazilian vibe. I’m a great listener and love a good conversation over coffee or a meal.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a authentic Brazilian dinner (pão de queijo or brigadeiro if I find the ingredients!), share detailed tips about overland travel in Asia, and I'm always happy to help with house chores or practicing languages.
