CURRENT MISSION
To make friends all over the world! =) Planning to travel Europe in summer of 2021. I would love to meet you and hear your story.
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty laid back, but I like to have fun. I am a teacher at a middle school in my town, and have studied/performed music for over two decades. I enjoy hosting people and there's almost always some beer in my fridge, so come stay at my place!
PHILOSOPHY
I believe in hard work, being creative, living life with purpose, doing the right thing, and drinking tons of coffee.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Started on CS over 10 years ago, and am very happy I gave it a try- this endeavor has given me many great experiences with new people over the years. I primarily host travelers, but as stated above I am looking to travel to Europe in 2021.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
It's all been awesome! I've hosted lots of people, all of which were amazing, interesting and wonderful people. I've surfed once in St. Louis, and greatly look forward to more CS opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty much anything, really. I'm very open-minded when it comes to music! My first CS guests were a rock band from Sao Paulo, Brazil. Miss those guys!
Movies: Bourne Trilogy, Shaun Of The Dead, LOTR, B-list horror films on Netflix
Books: C.S. Lewis, Donald Miller, Jordan B. Peterson, Craig Groeshel
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled around the United States and the world a bit.
Also, I have been able to host many amazing and inspiring people through CS, which is a blessing in itself. I would like to thank all of you who have stayed at my place!
Teach, Learn, Share
A few words out of love:
1. If you're surfing in a specific city, if possible, please take the time to notify your CS requests if you have found a person in which you have decided to crash with. Otherwise, folks who go out of their way to host surfers will know whether or not to be fully prepared.
2. You might luck out every-so-often sending CS requests a day or two in advance, but you will increase your chances of getting a confirmed place to stay by making requests with considerable notice. I recommend sending requests at least a week out, to buy yourself some time with potential hosts.
3. HAVE FUN
What I Can Share with Hosts
If you're being kind enough to give me a place to rest for the night, please know that I don't take that lightly. I am very respectful of your home, your belongings, pets, flatmates (if you have them), and most importantly- your schedule!
