Me, my husband Juraj and our son Samuel are on our big family adventure road trip to Portugal, Spain and all the way back home. We are open to everything...
I hope our almost 2 years old baby-boy will love traveling as much as us! But we do believe child is happy when parents are happy :)

ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY

We are a young family from Žilina, city in Slovakia: myself- Lucia, my husband Juraj and our lovely two years old son Samuel. I work as an architect which is my big passion, I have been running my own architectural studio since 2014 (www.stredanska.com). My focus is on quality of public spaces, thus in 2021, I became one of the employees of the Office of the Chief Architect of the City of Žilina. Currently, I am on maternity leave having a wonderful time with Samuel. Juraj works as an electrical engineer, he plays in band on electric guitar in his free time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having baby is the best thing that has happened to us but we also believe that we should keep doing what nurture us and make us happy. Traveling with a baby ? Why not?
Traveling is such a great experience to know the world, and to know our-selfs better. Couchsurfing is great opportunity to travel the way we like - to know the places with their authentic spirit.

Interests

Before Samuel has arrived in our lives, we used to travel around the world, hike in the mountains, get to know new cultures, food, architecture, do sports such as ski touring, mountain bikes, rock climbing, trying to surf... That is what we love! ... And we love sleeping outside - just like that without tent - watching stars, make a fire...
Me-Lucia also love to calm down with my yoga mat or to feel my body during dancing. During my maternity leave I am going back to painting, I'm currently learning the watercolor technique. I found big relax for me in this!
Juraj plays guitar in the punk-rock band.
