Overview
About Me
i would curently describe myself as a mum, scientist, climber, herbalist, adventurer and a very social person..
Perhaps a bit unusual about me is that I saw the world from its very top top 8848.86m.. I love Everest.. it became symbol of resilience as a mother to me!
I love discovering new cultures, climbing, mountains, camping. I love spending time outdoors, it makes me feel free.. I forage a lot and i make lots of whichy tinctures and herbal preparations, creams and soaps etc.
I enjoyed working as immunooncology scientist in Edinburgh.. now on my way to transition science to high altitude.
And of course i love travelling. It became a bit less frequent with my wee one, but some of countries i have visited include: around Australia, Nepal, Ghana, Puerto Rico, Culebra, Massachussets, France, Swiss, Czech, Ireland, UK, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Hungary, Italy, Mallorca, Teneriffe, Gran Canaria, and you name it... lol
I am superb busy person, so if you expect me to go and hang out in the city or prepare you a meal, i wont be the right person for that. Saying that if there is food made i am happy to share.
Also the house we stay in is about 3Omin bus drive into the city centre. So just mind that if you hope to be right in the centre of action.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the kindness of couchsurfing and it feels like such a beautiful way to share the space in the world. I like meeting new people and cultures and boost my networking, but i also simply like to help with sustainability of travelling. Costs are insane sometimes.
I used to host and use couchsurfing for stays many years ago and then i went of and could not recover my ould account. So i had to open a new one. Had a baby and climbed to the top of the world in the meanitime.. and here i am back.
