I was born in an amazing mountainous region in northern Slovakia. The fact I was surrounded by nature ever since birth sparked my interest in hiking (... which means I'm always down for sunsets/sunrises spent with mama nature).

I have been living in Bratislava since 2022. Beforehand, I spent one year as an exchange student in Wisconsin, USA. I studied 2 semesters of Political Science at the UvA in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Did my bachelors degree in Zlín, Czech Republic. Volunteered on a farm through European Solidarity Corps in Malta. And spent one semester on Erasmus in Porto, Portugal.

MY CS GOAL:
Trying my best to travel ALAP (as "localy" as possible). I would prefer to stay out of chain hotels and AirBnBs that have a tendency to destroy local communities.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Since the age of eighteen, I have had the great privilege of living in multiple different countries around the world. These years spent living abroad, and most importantly, the people I met on the way have made me into a person I am today.

Now that I've "settled down" in Bratislava and spent my last 2 and a half years here, I turn to the couchsurfing community looking for the sense of sharing I felt when I was living abroad. I seek to travel to meet people more than to see things.

Intereses

Sports! Of any kind. I played basketball for 10 years and also managed to tear my ACL while doing it. I also did/do joga, jumping, biking, packrafting, brasilian jiu jitsu,.. I have only recently discovered the charm of kayaking and packrafting, but I am already in love.

Big on having some beers with friends and playing kalčeto!
