About Me

Disclaimer: I haven't hosted in a while in this platform, only former guests but as I decided to take sometime for myself, I am available to hangout. I love the true spirit of Couchsurfing, the cultural exchange and meeting people from all around. So please, don't use it as dating app.

I'm an outgoing person, talk A LOT and I try to be there to help anyone around me. Also, I like showing my beautiful but chaotic city through my point of view, not only the touristic part but what makes me love it.

Growing up, my parents always hosted family friends at our house. My dad used to rock climb, a community that had the Couchsurfing spirit long before the app existed. I was raised hosting family friends, showing them around and speaking English. Becoming a volunteer at my university was just a part of who I had always been and it pushed me to study a semester in Denmark.

When I got my apartment, it was a no brainer for my dad and I to host on the platform. You might see him mentioned in my recommendations but he passed away in September 2022.

If you need any help, feel free to write me a message and I will gladly do what I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from around the world as I travel, and also save some money to keep on traveling and a secure place to stay. I also like to help people that come to my city and show them my point of view on living in Lima. The exchange of cultures is my main goal.

Interests

I love music, nature, culture (dances, architecture, food, traditions, etc.). I went to Denmark to live in a completely different place, get out of my comfort zone and experience another lifestyle and education.

Music, Movies, and Books

Mostly books in spanish like Sergio Bambarén (La Playa de los Sueños), Carlos Ruiz Zafón (La Sombra del Viento) and books I've found a long the way that attract me.
Favorite movies are comedies and action. Favorite one of all times: Shrek. I hate horror movies, I get scared too easily.
I love music! Headphones on and I'm completely disconected from the world. It reflects your mood and describes feelings better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I quit my job and bought a round trip to visit friends in Europe for 2 months. I had no plans, just trying to relax and not control everything.

Teach, Learn, Share

I cook quite well and I could teach my knowledge on Peruvian food. Also, I'm interested in dishes and ingredients from all over the world. I've been obssesed with merkén (smoked flaked spicy pepper from Chile), rugbrød (Danish black bread), puolukka (small red currants from Finland), red tea from Russia, organic chocolate with passion fruit from Ecuador, Italian style pesto, tapas (Spain), currywurst (Berlin), pasteis de nata (Portugal) etc. Yes, I love food.

What I Can Share with Hosts

As a guest, I'm respectful of spaces and I can cook something from my country. I like sharing common time, I love wine or a good beer but it's better with the sense of gathering that comes around it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Belgium, Bolivia, Chile, Denmark, Ecuador, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Netherlands, Peru, Portugal, Russian Federation, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, United States, Uruguay
